Press Release
(2011.08.13)
Comandante Castro is 85 years old. The one whose media and NATO hope and announce the death for many years is still there!
All Cuban media, musicians, visual artists, young campers and even transsexuals – this dashing false campaigns of the United States and their puppets on the "gay rights violated in Cuba" – paid tribute Saturday to Fidel Castro for his 85 years.
In the absence of the "Commander" who left office (curious "dictator" …) five years ago for health reasons, 22 artists from nine countries participated in the "Serenade of Loyalty," performed in the Karl Marx theater in Havana, in front of 5,000 guests and attended by dignitaries of the regime.
Granma and Rebel Youth, the two national dailies, reported on the commemoration on the front page, titled "Cuba and Latin America sang Fidel" and "Latin America has given us its heart."
A group of young people in the province of Holguin, 760 km east of Havana, camped near the birthplace of Fidel Castro and his brother Raul, who replaced his older brother, ill, to the head of Cuba in July 2006. Friday night, a group of transsexuals gathered at the Center for Sex Education (Cenesex) in Havana to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the group of transsexual supporters.
Nelson Dominguez, one of the most famous Cuban artists, and photographer Alex Castro, Fidel’s son, opened a joint exhibition, "Rider of dawn" in the Jose Marti Memorial, which celebrates the Cuban poet and hero on Revolution Square in Havana.
Removed at home, Fidel leads a simple life and devoted himself to reading and writing articles on global issues published in the official press.
WITH THE LIBYAN JAMAHIRIYA AGAINST THE IMPERIALIST AGGRESSION!
Faced with the aggression of the United States and NATO against the Libyan Jamahiriya, Castro pledged to defend his friend of 40 years Gaddafi. Like Chavez and Ortega in Nicaragua.
"Gaddafi Award for Human Rights," Fidel Castro wrote in his "Reflections", reproduced by Cuban and international media: "For me it is clear that the government of the United States cares not at peace in Libya, and will not hesitate to give the order for NATO to invade this rich country. " The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Raul Castro took over the same idea: "politicians and U.S. media incite violence, military aggression and foreign aggression."
Fidel is not the last of yesterday. But one of the first of tomorrow! With Gaddafi, Chavez and Lukashenko …
Long live Comandante Castro!
